Summer Concert Series at Rock Springs Nature Center
Enjoy long, lazy summer evenings with live acoustic music in the great outdoors. The Macon County Conservation District is excited to once again host its free, outdoor concert series this summer. The concert series will be held Sunday evenings starting at 7pm and will go to about 8pm.
Each show will be held on the west lawn of the Rock Springs Nature Center. The musicians will set up on the deck and you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Seating will be first come, first served on the lawn. Parking will be in the main lot, with the volunteer and bus parking areas reserved as handicapped spaces.
All shows are free and feature local acts from across Central Illinois. The music style varies with each group, but the majority consist of bluegrass, folk, or old-time country music.
Musicians include Cactus Ranch, Cross Country Classics, Rylie Bourne & Damon Atkins, Square of the Roots, Ashley Riley, and River Ramblers. Rain location will be inside the Nature Center. Co-Sponsored by Stifel Investment Services.
