Natural and Cultural History Interpreter – 1 Position
A part time Natural and Cultural History Interpreter job opening is available within the Macon County Conservation District. Interpreters develop and present educational programming for youth and adults, greet visitors, and provide assistance and information to the public.

Wage: $9.50 – $10.50/hour
Terms of Position: Permanent part-time position for 32 hours per week. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a field of study that includes biology, forestry, history, zoology, botany, or environmental education. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license, first aid and CPR certification.
